Job summary

Ming Heng Motor Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead all financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, audits, and consolidation for multiple entities, while providing strategic recommendations to Management.

The role requires a university degree in accounting/finance and a professional qualification is an advantage. You will manage a finance team and collaborate with external parties to ensure statutory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/CA Malaysia or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong audit coordination, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.
• Lead and coordinate external and internal audits, preparing schedules and documents.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and advise Management.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for multiple entities.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to Management.
• Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead and manage the Company’s financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, strong internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.

Lead and coordinate external and internal audits, including preparing audit schedules, supporting documents, and addressing audit findings.

Prepare, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and provide recommendations to Management.

Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for multiple companies or business units within the Group.

Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Oversee cash flow, working capital, expenses, and financial performance.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and other relevant external parties.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.

Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to Management.

Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA Malaysia or equivalent is an advantage.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory position.

Strong experience in audit coordination, budgeting, financial forecasting, and group consolidation.

Good knowledge of consolidated accounts and statutory compliance.

Experience managing multiple companies or entities within a Group is an advantage.

Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
