Job summary

APM Automotive Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a finance leader to oversee financial management, reporting, budgeting, and cost control. You will ensure timely filings, monitor cash flow, and drive process improvements across internal controls and policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with relevant professional qualifications preferred and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing finance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, taxation, cash flow management, and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the company.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
  • Monitor budget performance and expenditure, and prepare quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Review standard costing methodologies and ensure the accuracy of inventory costing.
  • Monitor and review cash flow, working capital, and financial risks to support business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax, SST, and Withholding Tax.
  • Review the submission of e-Invoices and ensure the preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing Documentation.
  • Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external and internal auditors throughout the audit process.
  • Organise and participate in Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Monthly Operations Meetings, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.

  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, taxation, cash flow management, and audit coordination.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, costing, and auditing.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
