Job summary

OX Nexus Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable accountant to manage daily payments, supplier reconciliation, and staff reimbursements while ensuring accurate records and timely reporting. The role involves monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and project-cost tracking using Xero.

The candidate should have a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency. Experience in project-based accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full-set accounts exposure.
• Experience with Xero Accounting Software is highly preferred.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation, P&L reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange daily supplier, contractor, staff reimbursement and operational payments.
• Verify payment requests against invoices, PO, DO and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and monitor outstanding payments.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements and bank reconciliations.
• Record and allocate project costs using Xero; monitor against budgets.
• Prepare monthly budgets, cash flow forecasts and related reports.
• Assist HR with payroll data, attendance and leave reporting.
