The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with about 2 years of relevant experience. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software are essential for accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in accounting software.
• Possess basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate a responsible attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
• Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations from AP and AR, including General Accounting transactions.
• Prepare, maintain, and update accurate financial records, accounting reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial schedules.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handle petty cash, payment vouchers, invoices, and other accounting-related administrative tasks efficiently.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities to support audit, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal company policies.
• Support the Finance team in improving accounting processes, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring smooth daily financial operations.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the management.
