PMG HEALTHCARE SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting professional to manage day-to-day operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger transactions.
The role involves preparing financial records, assisting in month-end and year-end closings, and liaising with auditors and tax agents. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, with 1–2 years of experience, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Prepare, maintain, and update accurate financial records, accounting reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial schedules.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Handle petty cash, payment vouchers, invoices, and other accounting-related administrative tasks efficiently.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities to support audit, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
Ensure all accounting activities comply with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal company policies.
Support the Finance team in improving accounting processes, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring smooth daily financial operations.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the management.
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Preferably 1-2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in accounting software.
Possess basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and good organizational and time management skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
Possess good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
