About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive – Billing & Revenue to join our Group Finance team. You will manage the monthly billing cycle, support revenue accounting, ensure e-invoicing and tax compliance, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and internal stakeholders, you will gain exposure to recurring revenue operations, regional tax requirements, and system-driven finance processes within a growing technology environment.

What You'll Do

Manage monthly billing operations: Execute recurring billing through our in-house SaaS billing system and onboard new clients into the billing cycle.

Support revenue accounting: Prepare revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules in accordance with MFRS 15 and Group policies.

Ensure tax and e-invoicing compliance: Support Malaysian Service Tax requirements, MyInvois compliance, and applicable e-invoicing processes across our operating markets.

Maintain billing controls: Process billing adjustments and approvals, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with contractual terms.

Analyse revenue performance: Prepare monthly billing and revenue variance analysis, management reports, and commentary on key trends.

Support commission calculations: Prepare monthly sales commission computations for management review.

Work with stakeholders: Resolve billing enquiries from customers and internal teams while supporting collection activities.

Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, reporting, workflows, and system processes.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting.

A good understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and revenue-related processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial data.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

It Would Be an Advantage If You Have

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Exposure to SaaS, subscription-based services, or recurring billing models.

Familiarity with MFRS 15 and revenue recognition.

Working knowledge of Malaysian Service Tax and e-invoicing requirements.

Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools.
