Hao Wei XPS Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive on a 12-month contract to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations under the guidance of the Accountant.
The role covers general ledger, costing, inventory control, fixed assets, treasury, and cash flow within a manufacturing setting.
Strong Excel skills and a diploma or degree in accounting/finance are required; successful performance may lead to permanent consideration.
As a Finance Executive (12-Month Contract) at Hao Wei XPS Sdn Bhd, you will support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, working closely with the Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
This role provides exposure to General Ledger, Costing, Inventory Financial Control, Fixed Assets, Treasury and Cash Flow activities within a manufacturing environment. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support manufacturing costing, variance analysis and inventory valuation activities.
Perform inventory reconciliations and participate in stock count activities.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and prepare depreciation schedules.
Assist in bank reconciliations, banking transactions and cash flow reporting.
Maintain accurate accounting records, financial schedules and supporting documentation.
Support ERP-related activities, including master data maintenance, testing and process improvements.
Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, bankers and other external parties where required.
Collaborate with Kingspan finance teams to support Group policies, reporting requirements and finance initiatives.
Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Accountant.
5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
Working Hours: 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting or audit roles.
Exposure to General Ledger, account reconciliations and month-end closing is preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
Fresh graduates with strong academic results and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, AutoCount or similar.
Experience in inventory accounting, costing or manufacturing finance environment.
Knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls.
Progress towards professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) would be an advantage.
