Job summary

Mezans in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Finance & Account Executive for the manufacturing arm to manage full set of accounts, AP/AR and GL, and prepare monthly management accounts.

You will handle month-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, budgeting, cost control, product costing and inventory valuation, and liaise with auditors and authorities while ensuring compliance.

Candidates with strong Excel and accounting software experience and fluency in Mandarin/English/Bahasa are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in handling Full Set Accounts is preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience and inventory costing expertise is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for the manufacturing business.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).

Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Knowledge of SST, financial reporting and month-end closing will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.

Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Mandarin is required as this role involves frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking Management and headquarters.
