Job summary

CCL DESIGN (KL) SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Executive to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur.

This hands-on role covers accounting, management reporting, costing, budgeting, cash flow, audit, tax and internal controls, supporting management with timely, accurate financial insights. The successful candidate is ready to step toward Assistant Finance Manager and drive improvements across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of inventory, costing and manufacturing accounting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Mature, responsible and able to work effectively with different levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Handle and review full-set accounting including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets and bank transactions
• Lead and coordinate monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate unusual or outstanding balances
• Prepare monthly financial analysis covering sales, gross profit, operating expenses, profitability and key financial indicators
• Analyse actual results against budget, forecast and prior periods, and highlight significant variances
• Monitor and analyse material costs, labour costs, manufacturing overheads and production variances
• Assist in product costing, standard costing and margin analysis
• Monitor daily/weekly cash position and upcoming cash requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professional advisers

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Account Executive to strengthen our Finance team. This is a hands‑on role with broad exposure across financial accounting, management reporting, costing, budgeting, cash flow, audit, tax and internal controls. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting management in making informed business decisions. This role is suitable for an experienced Senior Account Executive who is ready to take the next step into an Assistant Finance Manager position.

Key responsibilities

Handle and review full‑set accounting including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets and bank transactions

About you
