Job summary

Ascent Family Holding Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting across its diversified portfolio. The role requires solid knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will handle month-end close, GL reconciliations, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience; F&B industry preferred.
• Familiarity with IFCA and Auto-count is an advantage.
• Experience in consolidating financial statements is an advantage.
• Experience with E-invoice implementation is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of local accounting standards, Malaysia tax act, employment law, including MFRS, SST & E-invoice.
• Team player with pleasant personality, good attitude, initiative and results-oriented.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.

Manage daily accounting functions for companies.

Maintain proper reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts and integrity of Financial statements.

Responsible for proper treatment and compliance with all accounting transactions and policies.

Perform month-end financial reporting process to ensure accurate reporting to management.

Dealing with internal and external parties on operational matters, financial requirements, statutory reporting needs, taxation and audit.

Perform any ad hoc tasks or assignments as directed by a superior from time to time.

Requirement

Possess a Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance.

Minimum 2 year working experience. F&B industry experience preferred.

Familiarity with IFCA and Auto-count system may be an advantage.
