Job summary
FoundPac Technologies Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an Accountant to manage the full set of accounts and monthly closings, ensuring accurate postings and tax compliance.
You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, tax computations, and prepare management reports for shareholders and banks, while liaising with auditors and tax agents. A Diploma/Degree in Accountancy with 2+ years PQE is required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or relevant qualification.
- At least two (2) years of post-qualification experience.
- Exposure to local accounting standards and taxation law is essential.
- Possess a high level of computer literacy with familiarity in MS Excel and good knowledge of ERP system.
- Independent, proactive and strong analytical skill.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, fixed assets, GL, bank and taxation), including reconciliations and preparation of accounting schedules.
- Prepare daily sales invoices, monthly debtors’ statement and aging.
- Manage month end closing and ensure all journals, bank reconciliations, AR and AP are posted accurately and timely.
- Prepare tax computation for the company’s tax estimate and revision.
- Provide financial information and reports on timely basis to internal and external parties, including shareholders and banks.
- Liaise with bankers, auditors and tax agent.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
