To assist the Manager, Finance and Group Accountant on accounting activities of the Company.
To manage and maintain assigned subsidiaries accounts related to the business of the Company and report back to Superior.
To assist in preparation of assigned subsidiaries financial and management accounts, management reports and costing for Financial Review and Board meetings.
To be responsible and accountable in produce timely full set of accounts and prepare monthly management reports independently for Superior to review.
To carry out bank reconciliation for Superior to approve and perform data entry / update and maintenance of accounting records.
To check and verify official receipts and unidentified receipts are cleared on timely basis after updating collection from tenants.
To ensure AR transactions and Journal Entries are checked, properly supported and approved and thereafter promptly and accurately key-in into the accounting system.
Prepare and issue monthly rental invoices to tenants on time.
Attend to inquiries from tenants in relation to billings and collection status.
Report to Superior on debtors’ overdue collections which exceeded the normal credit terms and follow up closely in such situations.
To prepare the tax schedule, attend tax queries, manage the monthly income tax computation, deferred taxation, tax estimation, ensure timely submission of all statutory tax requirement to Superior for review.
To coordinate year-end audit, draft and finalize the audit report and financial statement for Superior to review.
To assist in the preparation of yearly budget.
Prepare and ensure timely and accurate submission of SST forms to the authorities.
To ensure compliance with all Company’s policies and procedures, statutory requirements, accounting standards, tax law and adhere to the procedures and discretionary authority limits.
To ensure safekeeping and maintain of proper accounting records and filing system.
Assist in the extraction and compilation of data related to the assigned subsidiary financials for Group consolidation reporting purposes.
Provide support to the Group reporting related to all financial matters related to the assigned subsidiary financials
To assist in Executive’s role and responsibilities in the event absent from Executive (include daily operation role/AP role/report role/others).
To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
To meet customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
Degree/Diploma/Professional Qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business Study or related discipline.
Minimum 3 – 5 years of working experience in accounting / finance role in property development industry.
Knowledge in statutory and regulatory requirements, and guidelines on property development.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standard and preparation, implementation and maintenance of the quality management system will be an added advantage.
