Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Certification: ACCA, CIMA, CPA or MIA preferred.
• Experience: 3–7 years in progressive finance roles, preferably project-based industries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive and highly accurate monthly financial reports.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, planning and day-to-day cash management.
• Draft and manage the company-wide budget including departmental allocations and capital budgets.
• Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to set data-driven targets.
• Partner with operations to produce project-level P&L statements and budgets.
• Monitor project costings and flag potential overruns; report to leadership.

Job description

1) Prepare comprehensive & highly accurate monthly financial reports.

2) Ensure full compliance with all relevant financial We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Lead to oversee the company's daily finance and accounting operations. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, proper cash flow management, and compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.

3) Maintain full transparency regarding the company's financial standing, providing clear & actionable insights to senior management.

Cash Flow Forecasting & Planning

1) Forecast cash flow on a rolling basis & build the company's cash flow plan, the Admin & Finance Lead continues to calculate & release the day to day allocation againts this plan.

2) Identify funding gaps or surplus periods ahead of time & advise the Managing Director on timing of major payments or capital purchases.

3) Set the cash flow planning assumptions & review actual vs forecast variance monthly.

1) Prepare the overarching monthly company budget, encompassing operational costings, department allocations & capital purchase budgets.

2) Collaborate with the commercial & sales teams to provide data driven sales targets, ensuring the organization meets its overarching profit KPIs.

Commercial & Project Accounting

1) Partner with operational teams to prepare individual Profit & Loss (P&L) statements & dedicated budgets for specific logistics, moving & rigging projects.

2) Monitor job level costings closely to ensure every project remains profitable & flag potential cost overruns before they occur.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

Certification : Professional accounting qualification highly preferred (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA)

Experience : Minimum of 3 year - 7 year of progressive finance experience, ideally with exposure to project based industries (e.g., logistics, construction or engineering)

Commercial Acumen : Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business strategies & sales targets

Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in modern accounting software (ERP systems) & advanec Microsoft Excel skills for complex costing & forecasting

Traits : High integrity, exceptional attention to detail & the ability to confidently present financial standing to leadership
