Job description

The position title and remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Handle full set of accounts and oversee cash flow management.
• Manage all internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with SOPs and corporate governance guidelines.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Continuously review and improve accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review annual audit reports, tax computations, tax returns, and tax planning activities.
• Conduct financial feasibility reviews for business tenders, proposals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Liaise with Project Managers and internal teams to monitor project status, budgets, sales plans, and inventory.
• Lead internal and regional financial reviews of projects and overall financial performance.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on financial matters.
• Verify delivery orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Coordinate with external parties including auditors, bankers, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience working in a project-based environment and familiarity with percentage-of-completion accounting (e.g., Engineering or Construction industries) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
