Job summary

EFS Revision Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the finance function for a growing renewable energy business. You will oversee AR, AP, GL, and financial reporting while rebuilding SOPs and internal controls to enhance efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; professional qualifications preferred (ACCA/CPA/etc).
5–8 years in finance and accounting, with external audit experience preferred.
Experience managing AR, AP, GL, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of taxation, intercompany transactions, and statutory compliance.
Experience in process improvement and finance transformation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee billing, collections, customer account reconciliations, and credit control activities.
Monitor aging reports and implement collection strategies to improve cash flow.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve billing and collection issues.
Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing of invoices.
Review payment controls and approval processes for compliance and efficiency.
Support contract administration, payment management, and supplier-related financial matters.
Review, rebuild, and strengthen accounting SOPs, policies, and internal controls.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; implement practical solutions.
Drive finance transformation, automation, and digitalization projects.
Establish best practices across finance operations.
Partner with operations, project management, procurement, and business development.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Support project budgeting, cost monitoring, and profitability analysis.
Participate in project kick-offs, vendor reviews, and meetings as finance representative.
Support Heads of Finance with ad hoc analysis.
Contribute to process improvement beyond finance.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Ensure team performance aligns with objectives.
