Job summary

SNERVCORP ENERGY SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure accurate financial records and reporting. The role supports the growth of the company and its group operations.

The successful candidate will handle full sets of accounts, prepare monthly management accounts, manage payables and receivables, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with SST, tax, audits, and external liaison.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full set of accounts is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Malaysian tax, SST and statutory requirements.
• Experience with e-Invoice and accounting systems will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Responsible, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Handle invoicing, payments, receipts and related accounting documentation.
• Manage and maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Handle e-Invoice processes and related documentation.
• Assist with SST, tax and other statutory requirements where applicable.
• Assist with annual audit and tax matters.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties when required.
