Job summary

Talent Recruit is partnering with a large-scale solar solutions provider in Shah Alam to hire an Accounts & Finance Manager. The role focuses on leading the accounting team, ensuring accurate daily entries, payroll, and audit readiness across projects in the Solar EPC space.

You will drive budgeting, costing, and cash flow management, while coordinating with procurement to maintain healthy working capital and adhere to MPERS/MFRS regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (MIA membership preferred).
• 3–5 years in accounting with 1–2 years in a supervisory role in Construction, Engineering, or Renewable Energy sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, AutoCount, or SAP; expert-level Excel skills for project cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
• Ensure all daily accounting entries, payment processing, and payroll are handled accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a structured and organized filing system for all financial records to ensure audit readiness.
• Perform Budget vs Actual tracking for Solar EPC projects.
• Manage progress billing for C&I clients and ensure timely collections to maintain working capital.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage supplier payments without disrupting cash flow.
• Prepare full set of accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and monthly management reports.
• Handle SST submissions and coordinate with tax agents for corporate tax planning.
• Act as main point of contact for external auditors and ensure MPERS/MFRS compliance.
• Perform daily banking activities including bank reconciliations and monitoring of credit facilities.
• Oversee the internal check-signing process and ensure banking authorities are updated.
