Job summary

General Microsystems Sdn Bhd is seeking a field service engineer to perform on-site installation, testing and commissioning, and ongoing system maintenance. You will provide technical and application support for product diagnostics to clients and conduct hardware and software maintenance.

The role involves exploratory testing, defect reporting, and troubleshooting, with a focus on resolving customer incidents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, electronic engineering, computer engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to travel and possess a driving license.
• Preference given to candidates with relevant working experience.
• Working knowledge in PC hardware and networking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Field service at customer sites for installation, testing and commissioning, system maintenance and repair.
• Provide technical and application support on product diagnostics to clients.

Requirements

Candidates must possess either a diploma or degree qualification in IT, electronic engineering, computer engineering or equivalent.

Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Preference will be given to those with relevant working experience.

Working knowledge in PC hardware and networking equipment.

Besides computer and electronics skills.

Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Applicant must be willing to travel and possess a driving license.
