Job summary

Acquirax Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) to install, service, and repair E.O.L. equipment at client sites across Penang and Ipoh. The role requires a engineering qualification, proven field experience, and the ability to travel frequently.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document all service activities while maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven experience as Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) or similar technical field support role
Strong technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues on E.O.L. Semiconductor equipment
Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical clients
Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple service calls
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites (Ipoh and Penang)
Physical capability to perform hands-on engineering work and lift equipment as required
Commitment to health and safety standards and adherence to compliance regulations
Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering quality support
Preferred: Certifications or training in specific Semiconductor equipment types

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing per schedules
Document all work including service reports and maintenance records
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams
Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical equipment failures
Maintain and manage field equipment and tools
Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and improvements
Provide technical guidance and support to clients on operation and best practices
Travel to client sites across the region as required
