Job summary

Mühlbauer Group in Melaka invites an experienced field service engineer to join our team. You will install, service, and maintain semiconductor equipment at customer sites, and provide technical training to customers.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, independent work, and willingness to travel overseas, including the United States, with bonding for training. We offer opportunities to work with advanced equipment and develop technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor machinery (die sorter, pick & place, vision inspection, robotic handling).
• Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
• Proactive and creative in solving technical problems.
• Willing to travel overseas (US) and stay on-site for extended periods.
• Willing to attend technical training with bond requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain equipment to ensure stable production at customer sites.
• Conduct technical training for customers.
• Deliver timely and effective support to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Provide updates on machine condition and actions taken after visits.
• Follow up on customer feedback and resolve issues.
• Communicate equipment status after on-site or remote support.

• Conduct technical training for customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective support.
• Provide clear updates on machine condition and actions taken after each visit.
• Follow up on customer feedback and ensure issues are resolved.
• Communicate equipment status after any support provided (onsite or remote).
• Perform other tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Experienced with semiconductor machinery (die sorter, pick & place, vision inspection, robotic handling).
