Hitachi Energy Ltd. is offering a 12-month trainee Field Service Engineer program in Malaysia.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting customers in the power and energy industry, covering installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service delivery. The role emphasizes customer engagement, technical recommendations, and building long-term relationships while traveling across Malaysia and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or related STEM.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% and work on-site.
• Comfortable engaging customers and presenting technical solutions.

Responsabilités

• Perform field service activities including installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power and energy equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through on-site and remote support.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their operational challenges and identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability and performance.
• Act as a technical ambassador for Hitachi Energy during customer engagements.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues while minimizing equipment downtime.
• Support customers with technical recommendations, product upgrades, modernization opportunities, and lifecycle service solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Service Engineers, Project Managers, and Sales teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness by recognizing service, upgrade, and maintenance opportunities that create value for customers.
