Job summary

FICONTEC SERVICE GMBH (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an on-site field service engineer to perform installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance at customer sites.

You will collaborate with internal teams to address on-site application issues and ensure equipment meets performance specifications through hands-on service and timely reporting. The role requires a Diploma in Mechatronic with 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong electronics/mechanics aptitude, and good English communication.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechatronic with 3–5 years field experience.
Good understanding of electronics and mechanics; reading schematics.
English fluency; other languages an advantage.
On-site field service and client interfacing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work at customer sites to perform assigned works and projects.
Collaborate with internal application and operation teams to support on-site issues.
Prepare on-site readiness, installation, SAT, and post-service support.
Provide hands-on onsite customer service including machine installation, training, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Submit service reports on work performed and travel as needed.
Willingness to work extra hours per country labor law regulations.
