Job summary

Bruker Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Bruker Nano Surfaces Metrology tools across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. This technical role covers installation, diagnostics, and post-sale support with on-site training for customers.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree with 3–8 years of semiconductor metrology experience and are willing to travel up to 50% to customer sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical/ mechanical engineering or physical sciences.
• 3 - 8 years of relevant Semiconductor industry experience, preferably metrology products and with hands on instrument experiences.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce/SAP.
• Candidates with the relevant qualifications but with little or no experience are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools for customers locally and internationally.
• Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location.
• Provide on-site training to the customers.
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales.
• Develop Service technical documentation.
• Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service.
• Up to 50% traveling required within Southeast Asia (at times with short notice).
