Job summary

KLA invites engineers to join our field service team in Malaysia, servicing complex semiconductor equipment at customer wafer fab facilities. You will troubleshoot, install, upgrade, and train users while coordinating schedules to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel. Entry-level candidates may be considered, with overtime compensation and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel on short notice.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Field service activities including troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of highly complex equipment at customer wafer fab facility.
• Resolve installation and upgrade problems.
• Coordinate equipment schedule to minimize downtime.
• Conduct customer orientation and technical training on equipment maintenance.
• Prepare field service reports and documentation for recurring issues.
