Job summary

Siemens Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems. You will collaborate with customers, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure safety, quality and reliable service delivery.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years of field service or switchgear experience. Travel across Malaysia, Siemens product familiarity, and relevant safety certifications

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of field service or switchgear testing experience.
Experience with Siemens products 8DA10, NXAIR, NXPLUS C, 8DJH RMU, SIVACON S8.
Knowledge of protection and automation systems and IEC 61850.
Willing to travel across Malaysia with a valid driving license.
Safety certifications (OSHA, CIDB) an advantage.

Responsibilities

Testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of Siemens switchgear systems.
Support site installation, supervision and customer service activities.
Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification at customer sites.
Prepare service reports and commissioning records.
Provide technical support for electrical distribution solutions and ensure safety and quality.
