Job summary

NR Electric Co., Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced field service engineer to provide after-sales support, on-site commissioning, and technical assistance to customers across projects.

You will coordinate with customers and internal teams, perform site surveys, tender support, and training, and ensure electrical protection and automation systems operate reliably. Travel domestically and abroad as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Electrical Engineering, power automation, power electronic or related.
• 2 year of site service experience for electric power products and system is preferred. New Colleague graduate is also acceptable.
• Speak or read-write Chinese. Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Technical background with good understanding of protection, control and automation products, electrical power system.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
• Be capable of electric secondary system installation and commissioning.
• Familiar with Malaysia standards such as TNB/SEB/SESB.
• Familiar with process of installation and commissioning about substation especially secondary circuit.
• Be capable of configuration and commissioning about HMI, SCADA system in substation.
• Be capable of configuration and commissioning about IED(Relay/BCU/RTU/Gateway) in substation.
• Be capable of use secondary commissioning machine such as Omicron, PONOVO.
• Good communication and organizational skill.

Responsibilities

• After-sales technical supporting and site service for customers.
• Technical support in marketing & sales activities, include but not limited to technical seminar, product demonstration/test, site survey, tender preparation/clarification.
• Interface between customer and NR team during project implementation & maintenance, include but not limited to factory acceptance test, technical clarification, customer requirement feedback.
• Configuration prepare in office and site commissioning.
• Customer training and setup of demo system, simulate the actual situation to solve and troubleshoot the problem.
• Document and data statistics work in Office and site.
• International services and technical support.
• Complete the assessment of skills and the achievement of performance in accordance with the requirements of the national manager.
