Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to perform testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems. You will collaborate with customers, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure safe, high-quality, and reliable service delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on switchgear experience, familiarity with Siemens products, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of switchgear testing, commissioning or field service experience.
• Experience with Siemens products (8DA10 GIS, NXAIR, NXPLUS C, 8DJH RMU, SIVACON S8).
• Knowledge of protection and automation systems (IEC 61850).

Responsibilities

• Testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of switchgear systems.
• Support site installation, supervision, and customer service for project execution.
• Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and rectification to minimize downtime.
• Prepare service reports and commissioning records.
• Provide technical support for electrical distribution solutions.
