Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated service engineer with electrical engineering expertise to install, commission and service equipment at customers' sites across Malaysia. The role requires practical mechatronics/automation knowledge and a willingness to travel.

You will train with international engineers in Germany for 8–10 weeks and collaborate closely with global colleagues. Strong English, communication and organizational skills are essential to deliver high-quality after-sales support.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background is required.
• PLC programming and field bus knowledge is an advantage.
• Computer skills include Windows and MS Office.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Flexible and self-learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service measuring, controlling and sorting equipment at customers’ facilities.
• Repair and calibrate equipment and electric boards.
• Provide technical support.
• Perform customer training.
• Prepare service quotes.
• Report the work carried out.
• After-sales customer care.
• Cooperate with international service engineers.

Requirement

• Dedicated service engineer with experience in electrical engineering
• Technical education; specialization in mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation and circuit diagrams welcome
• Knowledge of PLC programming and field bus systems will be an advantage
• Computer Skills; Windows, MS Office products
• Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
• Good communicational and organizational skills
• Flexibility and self-learning
• International driver’s license for passenger cars or valid driver’s license
• Initial training for 8-10 weeks in Germany

Responsibility

• Install, commission and service measuring, controlling and sorting equipment at our customers’ facilities
• Repair and calibrate equipment and electric boards
• Technical Support
• Perform customer training
• Preparation of service quotes
• Reporting of the work carried out
• After-sales customer care
• Cooperate closely with company’s network of international service engineers
• Traveling; duration mostly 3-5 weekdays, weekend travel is exceptional
