Job summary

Sidel in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineer to join our beverages-focused operations in Subang Jaya. You will test and evaluate equipment, prepare progress charts and technical reports, and ensure customer satisfaction on-site in line with SOPs and safety guidelines.

The role requires 5 years in beverage or related industries, a university degree, PLC automation skills (Siemens, B&R, Portal), and good English.

Qualifications

• University degree or above.
• Consolidated technical background such as automation skill of PLC (Siemens, B&R, Portal etc.).
• Good English skill.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications; properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities.
• Prepare job progress chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform activities in line with SOPs, Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules.
• Report after sales opportunities detected on customer site.
• Coach junior colleagues on on-site behaviour, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.
• Report to the ISM for team site activities.
• Experience in end of line (shrikwrraper, packer, palletizer, depalletizer etc.).
