Job summary

Sidel is seeking an experienced Engineer to test and optimize beverage equipment at customer sites in Malaysia. You will verify performance, handle non-conformities, and provide on-site problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required are a university degree and strong PLC automation skills (Siemens, B&R, Portal) with a solid beverage/industrial background. You will coach junior staff and report on-site activities in a global company.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in beverage industry or related field.
• University degree or above.
• Automation skills with PLC (Siemens, B&R, Portal etc.)

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications; properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities.
• Prepare job progress chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform activities in line with SOPs, Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules.
• Report after sales opportunities detected on customer site.
• Coach junior colleagues on on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.
• Report to the ISM for team site activities.
• Experience in end of line equipment (shrink wrapper, packer, palletizer, depalletizer, etc.).

Your Profile

• 5 years experience in beverage industry or relative experience or conveyor commission etc.
• University degree or above
• Consolidated technical background such as automation skill of PLC(Siemens, B&R, Portal etc.)
