Job summary

Sidel is seeking an experienced Engineer to test and optimize beverage equipment at customer sites in Malaysia. You will verify performance, handle non-conformities, and provide on-site problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required are a university degree and strong PLC automation skills (Siemens, B&R, Portal) with a solid beverage/industrial background. You will coach junior staff and report on-site activities in a global company.

Qualifications

5 years experience in beverage industry or related field.
University degree or above.
Automation skills with PLC (Siemens, B&R, Portal etc.)

Responsibilities

Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications; properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities.
Prepare job progress chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
Perform activities in line with SOPs, Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules.
Report after sales opportunities detected on customer site.
Coach junior colleagues on on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.
Report to the ISM for team site activities.
Experience in end of line equipment (shrink wrapper, packer, palletizer, depalletizer, etc.).
