Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Field Service Engineer to execute and coordinate service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning for industrial equipment across customer sites in the APAC region.

You will combine hands-on technical work with project supervision, customer engagement, and continuous improvement of service operations while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills.
• Experience in commissioning, servicing, and maintaining industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience leading technicians or coordinating field service activities is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the APAC region.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites.
• Supervise assembly and service activities to ensure quality and safety.
• Coordinate and provide technical guidance to technicians and support teams on field assignments.
• Prepare service reports, inspection records, and travel documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Act as primary contact between customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safety culture on-site.

• Supervise assembly and service activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate and provide technical guidance to technicians and support teams during field assignments.
• Prepare service reports, work documentation, inspection records, and travel-related documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and promote a strong safety culture on-site.
