Job summary

MB Automation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain semiconductor equipment at customer sites in Penang and beyond.

You will train customers, deliver timely support, report machine status after visits, and proactively resolve issues while traveling internationally, including stays in the US as needed. Experience with die sorters, pick & place, vision inspection, and robotic handling is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor machinery such as die sorter, pick & place, vision inspection, and robotic handling.
• Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
• Proactive and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel overseas (e.g., US) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain equipment to ensure stable production at customer sites.
• Conduct technical training for customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective support.
• Provide clear updates on machine condition and actions taken after each visit.
• Follow up on customer feedback and ensure issues are resolved.
• Communicate equipment status after any support provided (onsite or remote).
• Perform other tasks assigned by the superior.
