Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage and troubleshoot on-site installation, repair and maintenance, and to conduct tests and buyoffs. You will prepare daily service reports and coordinate with the head office technical team while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires electronics, mechanical and software skills, willingness to travel long periods, and adherence to ISO and safety SOPs. On-site work in Malaysia likely included.

Qualifications

• Certificate or equivalent in engineering fields as listed.
• Experience in field service support locally or overseas.
• Ability to service automation/equipment on site with mechanical, electrical and software skills.
• Willingness to travel for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot on-site installation, repair, maintenance, tests and final buyoff.
• Provide daily service reports with clarity and accuracy.
• Communicate with headquarters' technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Comply with ISO requirements and safety practices and follow SOPs.

Job description

2. manage and troubleshoot all on site installation, repair / issue, maintenance, test and buyoff.

3. Provide daily service reports.

4. Communicate and cooperate with Headquaters technical team and share information across the organization.

5. Build good relationships with customer.

6. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

7. To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general

safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements

• At least a Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering
  (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or or equivalent experience in related field.
• Minimum 1 year(s) & above in field service support in local or overseas.
• Must be able to provide service support in automation/equipment on site and set up with skills ofmechanical, electrical and software.
