Job summary

Duro Metal Industrial (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to drive growth by developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and promoting our products.

The role requires strong sales, negotiation, and consultative engagement with clients in the Malaysian market. The ideal candidate will understand client requirements and offer suitable solutions, coordinating with production to meet specifications and ensure timely orders.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience in roofing, building materials, steel manufacturing, or construction is a plus.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Willing to travel outstation and stay overnight when required for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving individual monthly and annual sales targets as set by the superior.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and progress.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to clients, highlighting key features of products and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor accounts, follow up with clients, and ensure timely payment collection.
• Conduct research and client need analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and overall market sentiments.
• Proactively seek and engage potential clients to create new sales opportunities within the industry.
• Work closely with the production department and other teams to ensure client specifications are met and orders fulfilled on time.
• Assist in daily working tasks and any ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the superior.
