Job summary

Optimus Distributor (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive sales professional to build and maintain customer relationships across designated sales territories in Malaysia. The role focuses on regular outreach, travel, and face-to-face meetings, acting as a trusted advisor with specialization in valve and flow control products to develop the Malaysian market.

You will manage accounts in Klang Valley and lead efforts to develop East Malaysia, educate customers on financial and operational benefits,

Responsibilities

• Regularly travel within designated sales territories to meet with prospects, new clients, and repeat customers
• Conduct daily outreach, including both phone calls and face-to-face meetings, to establish and reinforce customer connections
• Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor to provide tailored engineering solutions
• Regularly visit customers to offer pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty
• Keep comprehensive records of all sales leads, customer accounts, and interactions to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up
• Analyze sales data to improve customer engagement strategies and increase territory effectiveness
• Educate customers on how the company's products and services can benefit them both financially and operationally
• Lead efforts to develop the East Malaysia market , expanding the company's reach and influence
• Manage and grow accounts in the Klang Valley Region, ensuring that customers in these areas receive consistent and effective support
• Act as the primary expert on flow control products, guiding customers and consultants on product specifications and engineering applications
