Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Valve Supplier Industry to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, build relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users, and drive projects from design to execution.

The role involves promoting products through meetings and presentations, supporting technical submissions, and collaborating with Sales and Technical teams to grow business across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in engineering, business or related field.
• Experience in business development or project sales.
• Experience in valves, M&E, building services, waterworks, data centres or related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel for customer engagement and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business and market opportunities.
• Build relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, distributors, system integrators, and end users.
• Develop projects from design and specification through tender and execution.
• Promote company products through customer meetings, technical presentations, and industry events.
• Support product specifications, technical submissions, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams to drive business growth and project conversion.
• Develop distributor and business partner networks across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
