Job summary

Hotel Seri Malaysia Signature seeks an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to work closely with the COO, overseeing day-to-day operations for a portfolio of hotels across Malaysia. This is not a desk job; frequent travel between properties is required to ensure standards and operational efficiency.

The role offers exposure to multi-property management and growth into Group Operations leadership as the hotel group expands.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and follow-up skills required.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to communicate confidently with Hotel Managers, department heads, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple hotel properties with the COO.
• Visit hotels frequently; inspect front office, rooms, F&B and maintenance.
• Coordinate improvement projects across properties and track deadlines.
• Prepare management reports and updates for the COO.
