Job summary

Ken-World Corporation Sdn Bhd, a leading agribusiness group, seeks a proactive Estate Operations Supervisor based in Selangau, Sarawak. You will oversee day-to-day plantation activities, ensure adherence to budgets and safety standards, and coordinate field teams.

The role requires at least 2 years in plantation operations, familiarity with MSPO, GAP, and OSHA, and strong leadership, communication, and planning skills. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of plantation operations experience.
• Knowledge of MSPO, GAP, and OSHA is an added advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of daily plantation field operations and basic tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Basic knowledge of estate store management, field records, reporting, and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and manpower planning skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate field workers.
• Independent, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, responsible, and committed to achieving work targets.

Responsibilities

• To supervise estate operations in accordance with the annual work program and approved budget.
• Supervise daily upkeep activities to ensure worker quality and productivity meet company objectives.
• Ensure field access roads are kept in good condition and well-maintained.
• Ensure store issues and materials are sufficient for daily use.
• Ensure estate machinery and vehicles are in good working condition before workers begin their daily tasks.
• Supervise daily field harvesting operations to maximize crop yield and adhere to daily agricultural practice standards.
• Ensure paperwork, such as the pocket checkroll, work reports, daily reports, and field costing, is prepared daily.
• Perform practical and supervisory roles in day-to-day field operations, including upkeep, fruit evacuation system transportation, and infrastructure.
• Liaise with the assistant on the field work planning program for the following month.
• Willing to work in an estate environment and be based in Selangau, Sarawak.

Good knowledge of daily plantation field operations and proficiency in using basic field tools, equipment, and machinery.

Basic knowledge of estate store management, field records, reporting, and documentation.

Good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
