Job summary

Kwantas Corporation Berhad seeks a dedicated Field Supervisor to support oil palm plantation operations in Sibu, Sarawak. You will oversee daily muster, assign duties, and supervise field teams to ensure safety, productivity, and compliance with SOPs and MSPO standards.

Ideal candidates hold at least an SPM or a Diploma in Agriculture/Plantation Management, with 2+ years in estate operations, strong leadership, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. A valid motorcycle license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent, Diploma in Agriculture/Plantation Management an advantage
• At least 2 years’ experience in oil palm estate operations or related field
• Strong ability to communicate, motivate, and lead field workers effectively
• Able to plan and implement work arrangements to meet estate targets
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken
• Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor plantation environments
• Possess a valid motorcycle license

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily muster calls, assign duties, and prepare muster chits for attendance and productivity tracking
• Supervise general and contract workers during field operations (harvesting, manuring, spraying, upkeep) to ensure compliance with company SOPs, while supporting alignment with MSPO standards
• Plan and record daily work schedules; monitor task completion, quality, and adherence to operational targets
• Allocate manpower and machinery efficiently based on estate priorities and safety protocols
• Update pocket check rolls and verify attendance/output for payroll and traceability documentation
• Ensure safe return of workers and enforce site-level safety practices in line with company and MSPO requirements
• Coach and train workers on field techniques, safe work practices, and environmental awareness
• Assist estate management with operational reporting and execution of assigned duties
