Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Estate Manager to lead a large-scale oil palm plantation, drive FFB yield, productivity and cost efficiency. The role requires guiding estate teams, managing budgets, and ensuring MSPO/RSPO compliance while delivering operational targets.
We expect 15+ years in plantation operations, including 5+ years in senior leadership, with experience overseeing estates of ~10,000 hectares or more and a strong agronomy background.
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Senior Estate Manager to lead large-scale oil palm plantation operations and drive FFB yield, productivity, cost efficiency, and sustainable operational performance.
This is a key leadership position for a hands-on plantation professional with proven experience managing large-scale oil palm estates and leading estate teams to deliver operational targets.
Lead and oversee overall estate operations to achieve production, quality, productivity and cost targets.
Drive optimum Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) yield through effective agronomic planning and operational execution.
Oversee harvesting, field upkeep, fertiliser programmes, pest & disease management and estate infrastructure.
Manage estate budgets, manpower, productivity and operating costs, with a strong focus on cost optimisation.
Monitor operational performance and implement appropriate corrective and improvement measures.
Ensure compliance with Company SOPs, MSPO/RSPO standards, labour regulations and occupational safety requirements.
Lead, develop and mentor the estate management team to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
Prepare operational reports, analyse performance, and provide strategic recommendations to Senior Management.
Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Plantation Management, Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Forestry or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil palm plantation operations, including at least 5 years in a Senior Estate Manager or equivalent leadership role.
Current or recent experience managing an oil palm estate of approximately 10,000 hectares or more.
Proven track record in FFB yield improvement, productivity enhancement and cost optimisation.
Strong knowledge of oil palm agronomy, harvesting, field maintenance, fertiliser programmes, pest & disease management and estate administration.
Well-versed in MSPO requirements. Knowledge of RSPO standards will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical and people management skills.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to relocate/be based in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
