Job summary

Riverview Rubber Estates Berhad in Perak, Malaysia seeks an Estate Operations professional to assist the manager in developing and managing the plantation's overall operations. You will lead land development, cost control, HR and field work, while ensuring practices meet MSPO/RSPO standards.

You will supervise planting, maintenance and nursery activities, implement good agricultural practices, and report to the head office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Plantation related discipline from a recognized university.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities with ability to lead a team.
• Good people management, communication and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work and live in a plantation environment.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job description

Responsible in helping manager developing and managing the overall operation of the oil palms plantation and plan for future plantation development.

To assist manager take control of all phase and aspects of estate operation, including land development, cost management, human resources, worker management, planting practices and procedures, system and method, and Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) production.

Supervising oil palm tree planting, field maintenance and nursery management.

Propose professional good agricultural practices and implementation whenever necessary.

Ensure that the estate is managed to the standard in accordance with acceptable agricultural and practice and company’s requirement.

Provide leadership skills to estate staff to achieve target and deliver good performance.

Regular communication & reporting to department head / head office

Modernization of the estate work practices, including awareness of the requirements of MSPO & RSPO.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any Agriculture / Plantation related discipline from recognized Universities.

Possess strong analytical skill, leadership quality and ability to lead team.

Good people management, communication and report writing skills.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Willing to work and live in plantation environment.

Fresh graduate encouraged to apply

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.

Experienced in oil palm replanting in hilly terrain an added advantage;
