Job summary

Hilti Malaysia is hiring an Account Manager to be the trusted partner on construction sites, solving real challenges with innovative solutions and delivering measurable impact by understanding customer needs and opportunities.

You’ll engage with customers daily, conduct product demonstrations, pursue new business in your territory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding service and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/civil engineering; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
• At least 2–3 years prior experience in sales.
• Ability to build relationships at C-suite and operations levels, with internal stakeholders.
• Must be passionate about a career in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated achievement in their line of work.
• Basic understanding to interpret financial statements.
• Comfortable working independently and proactive in reaching out for support.

Responsibilities

• Engage with a minimum of 8 customers daily at construction sites to build strong relationships and provide on-the-ground support.
• Conduct at least one impactful product demonstration each day to showcase solutions and drive customer value.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.
• Participate in sales planning and strategy development to contribute to the overall growth of the business.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and Hilti's product and service offerings.
