Job summary

Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven Account Manager in Penang to grow business with field-based customer engagement. You will visit construction sites, perform product demonstrations, and identify new opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and high service levels.

The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience in construction or building materials, strong communication, and a track record of meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in construction/building materials or similar.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills enabling trust with customers.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills for handling queries and concerns.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with a minimum of 8 customers daily at construction sites to build relationships and provide on-the-ground support.
• Conduct at least one product demonstration per day to showcase Hilti solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery and customer service excellence.
• Participate in sales planning and strategy development to drive growth.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and Hilti offerings.
