Qualifications

• CDCP certification is required.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Operational Engineering is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in engineering, semiconductor, or critical environments.
• 1–2 years operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III data centers or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with M&E systems (CRAU, chillers, PDU, UPS, Switch Gears, DX cooling, network cabling, security).
• Ability to undertake Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
• Strong interpersonal, client and vendor management, and documentation skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and reporting to clients.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading global professional services firm specializing in real estate and investment management.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing M&E services and ensuring the effectiveness of the planned preventive maintenance program. The incumbent will assist the Senior Facilities Manager across site facility management, HSE management, procurement, vendor management, and team management for both helpdesk and technical staff. A Certified Data Centre Professional certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing operational standards, procedures, preventive and planned maintenance programs, repair/replacement initiatives, and helpdesk management to minimize plant failure risks.
• Recommend and implement continuous management initiatives and energy management plans to improve energy efficiency (PUE).
• Create and maintain the site asset register, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Review and manage stock levels of critical spares on site.
• Manage ad‑hoc projects as assigned.
• Submit timely and relevant reporting data to the Facilities Manager.
• Provide second‑level support and manage site operations in the Facilities Manager's absence.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with HSE standards.
• Collaborate with the HSE Executive on planning, executing, and delivering HSE procedures.
• Conduct performance assessments of technical vendors, ensuring delivery aligns with SLAs/KPIs.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring vendor procurement processes comply with client and company guidelines.
• Prepare job descriptions for technical staff and assign manpower to specific tasks.
• Advise the technical team and manage their work schedules.

Requirements

• Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) certification.
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Operational Engineering.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in engineering, semiconductor, or critical environment settings.
• 1-2 years of experience operating electrical and mechanical services in a Tier III or equivalent data center or critical facility.
• Hands‑on experience and knowledge of M&E and building related systems (e.g., CRAU, chillers, PDU, UPS, Switch Gears Ops, DX cooling, network structured cabling, security).
• Competency in undertaking Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse client and vendor staff.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, client relationship management, and documentation preparation.
• Sound written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation abilities for client review meetings.
• Ability to lead major data center activities during non‑office hours, when required.
• A 33KV Chargeman Certificate is an advantage.
