Job summary

Manpower Malaysia is seeking a Facility Management Professional to provide general FM services including monitoring of the facility and coordination with facilities managers on routine operations. You will handle procurement, PO issuance, bid requests, contracts, and accounts payable/receivable supports.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, or operational engineering and 3–4 years of relevant experience in engineering or critical environments, with hands-on experience in M&E

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelors’ Degree) in a mechanical, electrical or operational engineering discipline.
• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in engineering or critical environment space.
• 3 -4 years' experience in the operation of electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Management Team with tactical planning for the team's goals and objectives.
• Recommend continuous management initiatives and energy management plan, reviewing existing operations regularly to reduce cost and improve operational standards.
• Provide facility specific assistance to the project management team as needed or requested.
• Manage and maintain facility management tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate special events in support of client.
• Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans.
• Contract administration and associated reporting.
• Ensure the site provision of safe working environment and compliance to HSE standards.
• Lead major DC activities during non-office hours where appropriate.

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experiences and knowledge in M&E and building related systems, e.g. CRAC, chillers
• Competent in undertaking Job Hazards Analysis (JHA)
• Critical environment experience within similar sized site or operation

Personal Attributes:

• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client and vendor staff
• Experienced with continuous improvement initiatives, client relationship and preparation of documentation
