Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of public equipment and facilities (water, drainage, HVAC, compressed air, exhaust, wastewater).
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire and life-safety systems.
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Manage maintenance plans and equipment budgets.
  • Identify and resolve potential problems and hidden faults promptly.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized work.
  • Enforce safety and environmental (EHS) protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance to minimize production downtime.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians; delegate tasks and conduct performance reviews.

  • Oversee the management of public equipment and facilities, including water supply and drainage, air conditioning systems, compressed air systems, exhaust systems, and pure wastewater systems.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and life safety systems to maintain compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and repair costs.
  • Manage maintenance plans and equipment maintenance budgets.
  • Identify and resolve potential problems and hidden faults promptly.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contactors for specialized maintenance work.
  • Oversee the safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals and materials, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental (EHS) protocols, ensuring that all machinery and facilities meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including task delegation, training, and performance management.
  • Take ownership of EHS compliance, ensuring adherence to workplace safety laws and environmental regulations.
  • Serve as the main liaison with government authorities such as DOE, BOMBA, and safety enforcement agencies for regulatory compliance, inspections, and audits.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to facility maintenance, EHS, and regulatory compliance.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors on time.
Skill Required
  • Essential skill(s): Strong planning and coordination skills, equipment failure analysis and judgment, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Electric / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in a related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • 2 years and above of experience in equipment maintenance and management.
  • Knowledge of national power facility standards, 3R waste management regulations, and compliance laws.
  • Honest, calm personality, able to endure hardships, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Result-oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of the operation machines used in the production line.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
