QUADRANT TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Facilities / Infrastructure Engineer to manage factory Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and plant infrastructure.
You will ensure continuous operation of critical power, HVAC, water, and utility systems, while leading preventive maintenance and plant expansion projects. You will supervise maintenance technicians, perform root‑cause analysis for breakdowns, and drive energy efficiency initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced Facilities / Infrastructure Engineer to manage and oversee factory Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and plant infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous operation of critical power, HVAC, water, and utility systems, managing preventive maintenance, and leading plant expansion/modification projects.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of factory infrastructure, including power distribution, HVAC/chiller systems, water supply/drainage, and pneumatic/compressed air systems.
Direct and supervise maintenance technicians in routine inspections, critical equipment maintenance, and emergency repair works.
Perform hands‑on site checks, conduct root‑cause analysis for facility breakdowns, and strictly audit technical repair quality.
Manage factory utility consumption (electricity, water, gas), oversee energy efficiency initiatives, and maintain compliance for regulatory equipment/machinery certifications.
Coordinate technical specifications and execution for factory facility upgrading, expansion, and infrastructure modification projects.
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 3–7 years of solid facilities, M&E, or infrastructure maintenance engineering experience, preferably in large-scale manufacturing plants, MNCs, or semiconductor/electronics factories.
Strong technical knowledge in High/Low Voltage power systems, HVAC/chillers, industrial air compressors, and water treatment systems.
Familiar with DOSH / Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations or relevant Malaysian safety and machinery certificates (e.g., Chargeman AO/A4 certification is a strong plus).
Proven leadership capability in guiding technician teams.
English or Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
