Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking a Facilities Executive to support the maintenance and daily operations of our office, warehouse and facilities in Johor Bahru. You will coordinate maintenance activities and liaise with vendors to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires 1-3 years in facilities or M&E, a Diploma in a related field, and the ability to work independently. Basic salary up to RM4500 with a potential bonus and standard office hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily facility and building maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Monitor M&E systems, including electrical, HVAC and fire protection systems.
• Arrange servicing and repairs for equipment and building facilities.
• Monitor building utilities such as electricity, internet and telecommunications.
• Coordinate pest control and other facility-related services.
• Support renovation, upgrading and improvement projects.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance works.
• Follow up on maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed on time.
• Maintain maintenance records, asset lists and service documents.
• Ensure facilities are kept safe, clean and in good working condition.
• Prepare maintenance reports and support other tasks assigned by Management.

Location: Dato' Onn, Taman Eco, Johor Bahru
Relocation: Kulai, near JPO (expected from November)
Basic Salary: Up to RM4500 + Variable Bonus
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, Facilities Management, Building Management or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in facilities, M&E or building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, fire protection and building maintenance systems.
• Experience in a warehouse, factory, commercial building, mall or similar environment is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
