Jora Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Management Trainee with a degree in Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You will support operations across building maintenance, preventive maintenance and life-cycle planning, coordinating contractors and ensuring safety and service standards.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (all disciplines; preferably Mechanical or Electrical), Property Management, Facilities Management, or Science.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or property operations, preferably in high-rise buildings, shopping malls, commercial properties or industrial facilities.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams.
Good problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as effectively in a team.
Hardworking, responsible and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Willing to work on-site and respond to operational requirements when necessary.
Implement and enforce House Rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO standards and industry best practices to ensure safe, efficient and consistent site operations.
Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive facility management and preventive maintenance program, including asset management and life-cycle planning.
Conduct regular facility inspections and audits, maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, statutory and industry requirements.
Oversee essential facility services, including security, cleaning, food court operations, waste management and other building support services.
Coordinate and monitor contractors, service providers and maintenance activities to ensure work is completed according to agreed standards, timelines and requirements.
Support the planning, coordination and execution of special projects, including defect rectification, improvement works and other facility-related initiatives.
Prepare project updates, progress reports, analysis and relevant documentation for management and clients.
Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries, feedback and operational concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and effective resolution.
Liaise with clients on project and facility matters, including attending meetings, addressing queries, analyzing data and preparing presentations and reports.
Monitor operational performance and consistently strive to meet and exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service quality, operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Candidates without prior facilities management experience may be considered for our Maintenance Trainee position, where you will receive hands‑on exposure and training in Building Automation System (BAS), building maintenance, facility operations, preventive maintenance and site management.
